The Thanksgiving holiday (Thursday November 24) typically brings a lot of new faces to Truth or Consequences and Sierra County.
Hotels are often fully booked so if you haven’t made a reservation yet, hurry (see all our hotels here)!
If your trip to Sierra County means sticking around all weekend, check out the Arts & Crafts Fair at the Elephant Butte RV Resort on Friday November 26, or take part in Small Business Saturday, your opportunity to support local small businesses around the county. Saturday night, there’s a party at Rio Bravo Fine Art Gallery celebrating a special art show of 52 “art cards” created by local artists. Tickets are $10.
Of course our fast food restaurants will be open, and we’re hearing that Grapevine Bistro will be open 10am-4pm serving a “traditional Thanksgiving dinner” complete with “a weird uncle to make everyone feel at home.”
Otherwise, here are the local restaurant options (that we know of, always have to throw in that disclaimer) and their menus.
