Extras: We're 1.25 miles from Lake Caballo, on the east (lake) side of Highway 187. We have a large barbecue in the cabana; all sites have a picnic table. A computer is available in the recreation room (dialup connection) and we have two wheelchair-accessible restrooms with showers. We can accomodate rigs up to 46 feet. We have mining claims in Copper Flats for dry washing, metal detecting and rock hounding, and RV and boat storage on-site for your convenience.

Directions: From I-25, take exit 59 (Caballo). Go 1 mile south on Hwy 187; the park is at mile marker 119.

Extras: We're located on the east (lake) side of Highway 187, with beautiful lake and mountain views. Our park has a game area, activities, happy hour, guided tours, gold panning, covered patio, clubhouse, and picnic tables. Caballo Lake is within walking distance. You may borrow our telephone if you use your own phone card. We welcome pets, but ask that you keep them on a leash and clean up after them.

Directions: From I-25 take exit 59 (Caballo) and go north on Highway 187 for 1.8 miles, to mile marker 22.

Directions: From I-25 take exit 59 (Caballo); turn right and go one mile on Highway 187. The park is on the west side of 187, behind J&M Restaurant. Look for the sign out front.

Extras: We have a convenience store on-site that sells groceries, propane, gasoline and diesel. The park has views of Caballo Lake and mountains and is just minutes from scenic Hillsboro, Truth or Consequences, and Elephant Butte. Some sites have 30/20; some have 30/50. 12 of our sites have phone hookup capability. We have 4 sites for tent campers. Pets must be leashed and picked up after.

Directions: If coming from the north on I-25, take exit 63 (Hillsboro/Silver City); turn left onto Highway 187 and go 1 mile to the park, which is on your right, next to the convenience store (look for the boat sticking out of the side of the building). If coming from the south on I-25, exit 59 (Caballo) and turn right onto Highway 187; the convenience store and park are 2.25 miles further, on your left.

Extras: We have many shade trees with a nice view of the Caballos and Caballo Lake, as well as a guest area with a hot tub, air hockey table, dart board, and a modem. Wireless is free for our guests. Sites are telephone-ready, but it's up to tenants to arrange service. Our sites can accomodate rigs up to 34 feet.

Extras: We're located miles from the hustle and bustle of town life, in the living ghost town of Chloride (home to The Pioneer Store Museum, the Monte Cristo Gift Shop & Gallery, and other historic points of interest). Once you arrive you won't be able get a cell phone signal, but there's a payphone at the Winston General Store if you need to make a call. Summer campers will enjoy our cool temperatures. Since we're next to the Gila National Forest, the park makes a great home base for hikers, campers, and owners of ATVs, jeeps and the like. Pets are welcome but must be leashed. The park can accomodate rigs up to 40' long. |
Directions: Chloride is approximately 40 scenic miles west of Truth or Consequences. If northbound on I-25, take Exit 83. Turn left on NM 181, then left on NM 52. Follow signs to Winston, then turn left to Chloride, two miles south west of Winston on all-weather hard surface road. If southbound on I-25, take Exit 89. Turn left on NM 181, then right on NM 52 and follow directions as above.

Extras: Our brand new clubhouse offers a lounge area with TV, a full-service kitchen with range, refrigerator, microwave & coffeemaker, and a covered patio with grill and picnic tables. Our fully-equipped laundry has 4 washers and 4 dryers. Wireless internet is available thru Tengo Internet, which offers pricing plans by the day, week, month, 3 months, 6 months, and year. All sites are have 50 amp; a few have 30 amp. Some sites are wired for telephones, but service must be arranged with the phone company. A phone is also available in the clubhouse. We offer storage for your boats, vehicles, and RVs. |
Directions: From I-25 northbound, take exit 83 and go straight for 1.5 miles on Highway 195; look for our sign on the right. From I-25 southbound, exit 83 and turn left onto Highway 181; After 1/2 mile, turn left onto Highway 195 and go 1.5 miles. Look for our sign on the right.

Extras: We're the only RV park located within Elephant Butte Lake State Park. We have lots of shade trees and a scenic view of the lake and Ash Canyon; we're conveniently located next to the Dam Site Restaurant, which is open on weekends in the winter, and daily during the summer. Pets are allowed if they're kept on a leash; smaller children will enjoy the playground that's up the hill from the park. Your cell phone may or may not work from our location. We can accomodate rigs up to 40 feet.

Directions: From I-25 northbound, take exit 75 (Williamsburg) and stay on the business loop through Truth or Consequences until you come to a stoplight (this is the only light in the county). Turn right, or east, at the light; this road becomes Highway 51. Stay on 51; do not turn on Highway 179, which directs you to Elephant Butte Lake State Park. Elephant Butte Dam will be on the left side of the road; after the dam, take the second left at Junction 177, and follow signs to the Dam Site. The park is to the right of the restaurant.
From I-25 southbound, take exit 79 (Truth or Consequences) and stay on the business loop to the stoplight, where you'll turn left (east). Follow directions as above.
