A celebration of the pecan harvest,
featuring pecan pie, music, pecan candy,
arts and crafts, flavored pecans,
a barbecue, pecans, and more pecans.
Proceeds go to NM Boys' and Girls' ranches.

Held annually since 1950, Truth or Consequences comes together to celebrate Fiesta with a parade, performances, contests, rodeo, arts and crafts, and vendors.

Home Tours in the morning, and in the afternoon, a Music Festival showcasing
local and regional musicians that reflect and express New Mexico's diverse musical roots.
A tournament that has featured LPGA members Nancy Lopez, Rosie Jones, Kristi Albers, Natalie Gulbis, and Alena Sharp, with a golf workshop taught by Kathy Whitworth.
Formerly known as "Destination Sierra County New Mexico," this event has showcased Sierra County art (and other and cultural assets) annually since 2004.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Jams on the lawn, competition on the stage in the Ralph Edwards Auditorium, a gospel sing on Sunday, and plenty of floorspace for the dancers in the house.
Supporting the Truth or Consequences Veteran's Memorial Park & Museum, this festive event includes a Bike Run & Bike Rodeo plus vendors, team tug-of-war and other games, a car show, food, belly dancers and drummers - a guaranteed good time!
A pre-Christmas celebration with open houses at studios, galleries, and historic homes in Hillsboro. Events at the Hillsboro Community Center include a silent auction and vendors selling their holiday wares.
BEACHWALK LUMINARIA FESTIVAL
& FLOATING LIGHTS PARADE OF BOATS
Thousands of luminarias line paths on the beach that lead to bonfires with cocoa, posole, and caroling. The Floating Lights Parade begins at dusk, with a special Grand Marshall each year (2008 Grand Marshall is KRQE-TV's meteorologist Mike Hernandez).
